What is most dear to Our Lady is the eternal salvation of our souls. “I shed tears of blood for each of my children who are lost in sin,” the Mother confided with a broken heart.
We, his poor children immersed in worldliness, are primarily interested in life here on earth, which we try to prolong as long as possible. As for the eternal salvation of the soul, we do not worry too much and we reassure ourselves with the false mercy of those who say, deceiving themselves, that we will all go to heaven.
This is one of the reasons why “Satan reaps souls,” as the Mother revealed to us in one of her messages, because we live in sin and die in sin. Without faith, without prayer and without commandments, how can we delude ourselves into entering the Kingdom of Heaven?
In her Messages, Our Lady draws inspiration from the Gospel, as her Son revealed it to the world, and for this reason she is tireless in calling to Conversion and to the sanctity of life. There is not a single word in her numerous messages that excuses sin, that attenuates or changes the commandments and that seeks to diminish or abolish the terrible reality of eternal hell where unrepentant souls go.
It is no wonder that the apparitions of Medjugorje are so bitterly opposed by Modernism, whose followers would not hesitate to make a bonfire of all the Messages of the Queen of Peace.
Today one of the most difficult truths to accept in the Gospel is precisely eternal hell, which Our Lady has reiterated as in no other apparition that has occurred before, going so far as to take with their bodies into the afterlife two visionaries, Vicka and Jakov, to see with their own eyes Heaven, Hell and Purgatory.
Precisely because the possibility of eternal perdition is a sad reality for many souls, Our Lady is tireless in calling us to Conversion, to Confession, to the sanctity of life.
This call intensifies more and more as the time of the Six Secrets approaches, into which the world is entering with unstoppable speed, while the catastrophe of self-destruction hangs over the neck of mankind.
Global Armageddon, as those who see things as they are claim, could happen at any moment, if Heaven did not watch over human wickedness.
For this reason, as we approach the time of the Secrets, Our Lady urges us to Conversion, to Confession and to live in God’s grace because, whatever happens, the angels will take us to Heaven.
