Our Lady’s Message of March 25, 2025 “Pray with me, because without God you do not have a future or eternal life.”

Our Lady’s Message of March 25, 2025
Today, March 25, 2025, Our Lady appeared to the visionary Marija and gave the following message for the world:

Dear children,

In this time of grace when you are called to conversion, I am encouraging you, little children: offer me your prayers, sufferings and tears for conversion of hearts that are far from the Heart of my Son Jesus.

Pray with me, because, little children, without God you do not have a future or eternal life.

I love you, but I cannot help you without you; therefore, say ‘yes’ to God.

Thank you for having responded to my call.

 (With Ecclesiastical approval)

The Vatican’s current stance on the events at Medjugorje, as of March 26, 2025, reflects a cautious yet positive approach, focusing on the spiritual fruits of the site rather than a definitive judgment on the alleged Marian apparitions’ supernatural authenticity. On September 19, 2024, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF), with Pope Francis’s approval, issued a document titled “‘The Queen of Peace’: Note About the Spiritual Experience Connected with Medjugorje.” This document grants a “nihil obstat,” meaning “nothing obstructs,” allowing devotion and pilgrimages to Medjugorje to continue without declaring the apparitions supernatural in origin.

The Vatican recognizes the “abundant spiritual fruits” associated with Medjugorje, such as conversions, increased participation in the sacraments (notably the Eucharist and Reconciliation), vocations to religious and married life, deepened faith, and family reconciliations. These positive outcomes are seen as occurring primarily through pilgrimages to the site rather than through direct encounters with the alleged visionaries. However, the Vatican does not confirm the supernatural character of the apparitions that reportedly began in 1981, when six young people claimed to see the Virgin Mary, some of whom say the visions continue to this day.

The DDF emphasizes that this approval does not imply a judgment on the moral lives of the visionaries or require Catholics to believe in the apparitions. It also advises pilgrims to focus on encountering Mary and Christ through prayer, the sacraments, and devotion, rather than seeking out the visionaries or their alleged messages. The Vatican acknowledges some concerns about certain messages, noting instances of “imprecise” or “theologically incorrect” language, but views the overall spiritual experience as beneficial.

Historically, the Church has been reserved about Medjugorje. In 1991, the Yugoslavian bishops concluded that it “cannot be affirmed” that the events were supernatural, a stance labeled “non constat de supernaturalitate” (not confirmed as supernatural). A 2010-2014 Vatican commission, led by Cardinal Camillo Ruini, reportedly viewed the initial apparitions favorably but was skeptical of later ones, though its full findings remain unpublished. Pope Francis has expressed personal doubts about the ongoing apparitions, preferring to emphasize the pastoral benefits over their authenticity. Since 2019, he has permitted organized pilgrimages, provided they do not imply Church endorsement of the apparitions’ supernatural nature.

In summary, the Vatican supports Medjugorje as a place of prayer and spiritual growth, authorizes devotion, and permits pilgrimages, but stops short of confirming the apparitions as supernatural, maintaining a prudent and pastoral focus as of the latest guidance in September 2024.
