Medjugorje should set an example to the world of how to respond to the revelation of the Secrets.

The village of Medjugorje was originally a group of peasant houses around the Church, which Providence had arranged to be built larger than was necessary.

Since then it has become a world center of Marian spirituality thanks to the longest Mariophany of all time which, according to what the Queen of Peace revealed, will last until the death of the Seers.

Throughout these years, Medjugorje has been an instrument through which Our Lady has carried out her plan to renew the Church and save the world from destruction.

There is no doubt that there was no lack of highs and lows, as also appears in the messages that Our Lady addressed to the Parish. In the end, however, Heaven deemed the answer valid, even if perhaps it would have desired more.

There is no doubt that Medjugorje will play a role of primary importance also and above all in the time of the Secrets and in this regard Our Lady expects that her presence will not be betrayed, as she had already anticipated in the message of January 25, 1991.

This concerns first of all the event of the first Secret that will directly involve the Parish of Medjugorje. The subject is delicate because the first Secret, like the second, are natural events that will cause disasters, even if not as serious as the subsequent ones from the fourth to the tenth.

In this regard, the Visionary Mirjana was clear and in any case the decisions of the Madonna cannot be questioned. In Mirjana’s version, the two events have the purpose of an interior purification and of elevating the soul to vision in the light of the eternity of this life that passes.

Perhaps this is the reason why the topic of the Secrets does not seem to be on the agenda in Medjugorje. However, there needs to be serious preparation in this regard, because the behavior of the inhabitants of Medjugorje will be an example for all those in the world who will be involved in subsequent Secrets, which will have much more serious consequences.

What can be foreseen is that, with the first secret, there will be great spiritual and material changes in Medjugorje that will prepare for the unimaginable event of the third Secret.
