Dear Father Livio, I am listening to you and I hear the beautiful phrase: if in a family there is someone who prays it is a blessing for everyone.
I have a daughter who has been religious for 44 years and this covers us with graces, but I have a son, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren who do not attend (the 14-year-old did not receive Confirmation).
I pray fervently and two days ago I went to buy his latest book on the Sign, but while I was asking for it I said THREE and so I gave one each to my children who thanked me.
I spoke briefly about Medjugorje, the secrets, the antichrist and now I wait. Think that I was anxiously waiting for the first secret to gather the family and speak clearly about hope and the future. Hope also for me who in two years would be 90

Dear Nicoletta,
It is a pleasure to read letters like yours full of zeal for the salvation of the souls of their loved ones. You remind me of my maternal grandmother Lucia who, already in her nineties, would stand in front of the window, from which you could keep an eye on the door of the Church, to see if her grandchildren (we were at least twenty) were going to Holy Mass on Sunday. Then during the week she would call those who had “skipped school”.
I must admit that I learned some fundamental things for the life of a priest from my grandmother more than from my theology courses. For example, zeal for the salvation of souls because, my grandmother used to tell me, “you only have one soul, if it is lost what will happen to it?”
That generation knew what is most important in the Christian message, that is, the seriousness of life, as a time of trial and fidelity to God, at the end of which there is judgment, heaven, purgatory and hell.
The path of life was very clear, because it was illuminated by faith, by the observance of the commandments, by the practice of the Sacraments, by the love of God above all things and of one’s neighbor as oneself.
Life was more serene, difficulties were faced with the help of God, crosses were carried with courage, following Jesus and Mary along Calvary.
Now little of all this remains and faith has largely disappeared. The multitude of souls wander here and there in the dark void of nothingness, until they become a dry branch, good only to be burned, says Jesus.
To avoid this “coat” by the devil, determined to take over the world to destroy it and bring all souls to hell, Jesus sent Mary to earth to shake us, to guide us, to help us and to protect us from the dangers that loom fearfully over our heads.
Already with the first secret of Medjugorje, in which the prophecy of the three days before will be manifested (a catastrophe that will strike Medjugorje will be foretold three days before), people will begin to open their eyes and Satan will begin to lose ground, as the visionary Mirjana said.
What will happen next, from the third secret onwards, are events that we cannot even imagine, but which will cause the world without God to collapse, so many will return to believing, praying and living righteously.
Tell your grandchildren to inform themselves well about these events that Our Lady revealed in Medjugorje, because when they happen it will be too late. They, more than us, have the possibility of entering into the time of peace that God has prepared, but first we must begin to believe and pray again, in the sweet friendship of Jesus and Mary.
