Dear Father Livio,
wishing you a speedy recovery, I am sending you this simple reflection on the relationship between modern man and God, which I have been able to sadly observe in my personal experience and which Our Lady has dramatically highlighted in one of her famous messages.
Modern man no longer believes in God except for a small flock that still resists.
God is not a hypothesis to be considered in the theater of the world that is increasingly self-referential, science, technology, psychology, medicine, ultimately the resources of human intelligence are enough!
Even among the so-called Catholic believers, the hypothesis of Providence in the concrete life of people seems to be an ancient legacy that has been overcome, an old theology of the past!
At most, the Church is useful in helping the poor, in being sensitive to the environment, to air pollution, in promoting peace and dialogue between nations and with other religions, all praiseworthy things but only as the fruit of human good will, without any reference to the conversion of the heart through Grace, which works in every baptized person throughout his or her life.
We have come to the point, the ground for the triumph of the humanitarian religion is ready…we are just waiting for its definitive consecration!
Only Mary can reverse this contemporary drift and we hope that everything happens as soon as possible because if these days are not shortened I have the impression that the enemy will have a copious spoils of war.

Dear Tommaso,
you have made a very fitting diagnosis of the spiritual situation of the world in which we live. It is a world steeped in modernism, that is, the rejection of the “Supernatural”. It is a mentality that has conquered the West since the post-war period, but which has now become a universal way of thinking, because even when God is brought into play, it is in view of our intra-worldly goals and therefore in reality it is an idol.
There are authentic believers, but they are minorities who have no influence on the thoughts and behaviors of society. Even among those who have responded to the call of the Queen of Peace, only “a small number” have understood her saving mission, as she herself said.
This absence of God is revealed through the growing presence of evil, which we ourselves become aware of in the daily news reports, which however bring to light only a small part of the iniquity that is rampant and which manifests itself in all its brutality even in young lives.
Our Lady has long warned us of this attempt to prevail by the mystery of iniquity, which acts in the world as never before, Our Lady affirmed. In her last message, Our Lady added another of her vivid descriptions of contemporary humanity, inviting us to be her outstretched hands and her love “ for those who do not love, do not pray and do not want peace”.
The world without God is showing its shameful face more and more, transforming our planet into a pre-emptive hell. Every day the previous limits are exceeded and even those in positions of responsibility swerve fearfully, showing a emptiness of thoughts and values that makes one shudder. Bullying, injustice, arrogance, greed and so on are pleased with themselves, making men horrifying images of the devil.
In the midst of this tangle of snakes we must witness the presence of God, his justice, his love, his compassion, his forgiveness, his peace. Our Lady needs us because she has decided to change the world, asserting the power of the Cross that has already defeated the forces of evil.
The new world without God and its false religion have already been judged. In the time of the Secrets they will collapse fearfully and sink into the abyss because, Our Lady has decreed, for them there is neither future nor eternal salvation.
