Medjugorje and the Church: “The Future is Apocalyptic…The Survival of Humanity and the Church is at Stake”

Those who follow things closely have realized that on September 19, 2024, something unprecedented, unexpected, happened. Cardinal Fernandez presented the Note of the Holy See very clearly and said unequivocally that the conclusions drawn concern the situation as it is now and the events that have occurred in Medjugorje so far. We do not know how it will continue. What the Pope did is extraordinary, I know that it was very controversial precisely because the situation is still evolving.
We could say that Medjugorje, after all these years, is still at the beginning because everything is oriented towards what will be the great battle and the final victory which is that of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The apparitions of Medjugorje are all oriented towards the time of the Secrets. The novelty, then, consists in the fact that the Holy Father wanted to give the Nulla Osta to Medjugorje even if the apparitions are still in progress, recognizing the fruits and the cult of Mary Queen of Peace. This is a great, far-sighted fact, in my opinion it is inspired.
With the Nulla Osta, then, the Church has taken responsibility for what happened in Medjugorje and to lead it in harmony with Our Lady. The Church is a serious, attentive reality. The Church in Medjugorje has taken control of the situation, it was not like this before. The Nulla Osta has recognized the spiritual fruits of Medjugorje and also the Messages, in this way it has taken responsibility to guide its future, to walk with Our Lady, to follow Her and to implement what She wants.
Our Lady speaks to the Church through the visionaries and the Church takes on the responsibility of guiding, moderating and intervening, enlightened by the Holy Spirit. Never before has the Church taken on the responsibility of a world event like Medjugorje, which is a Marian project in full swing. The Queen of Peace has already said that the future will involve the Church in the first person; we know, in fact, that the Secrets concern the Church first and then the world.
Now the faithful must look to the Church, to its decisions and provisions in this regard. The visionaries themselves are subject to the Church and must be instruments with which the Queen of Peace speaks to the Church. Any attempt to isolate oneself from it is wrong, it leads to the defeat of ideas and people. The Church leads the apparitions of Medjugorje which are in evolution, we know that unpredictable messages could arrive.
Personally, I am convinced that it was Our Lady herself who inspired the Holy Father to grant the Nulla Osta to Medjugorje, so as to invest the Church with responsibility in this phase and until the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. At this moment the Church must walk with Our Lady and we faithful must walk with the Church, there is no doubt. The visionaries must also do the same, because Our Lady speaks to the Church through them. This harmony is necessary, whoever follows Our Lady must follow the Church. Thinking of doing without the Church is misleading.
